FAQ

How many students can be in a team?

From 1 to 4 students per team.

Students can register on their own and form remote-collaboration teams within the platform if you wish.

If a teacher wants to register a group of students they can register as an Organization and manage the

student licenses to give out.

Ages of the participants

Middle and High School

What hardware will they need?

The design activities can be done on a browser with an internet connection using Virtual Machines

if you don’t have a computer that meets specifications on the website (space-teams.com).  We also

have VR mini-mission simulations and those do require a good computer with GPU and a VR headset

for the full experience.  But you can also run these on the screen with an Xbox controller or via

keyboard.

When does the event start and when does it end?

March 4th – 1 hour webcast per week for 12 weeks.  You can do the activities right after the webcast

or whenever convenient during the week ahead.  Aiming to support all timezones, so webcasts are

recorded and not designed to need to be there live.

Times of the presentations

Wednesdays US 6pm Central Time, 7pm EST, so Thursday mornings in SA.  Best to watch them at

whatever time is convenient.
