Prudential Maths Academy

Livng Maths, Prudential and Social Advantage have teamed up to make a major impact in the Phillipi and Lower Crossroads community in Cape Town. The project works with learners from grade 7-9 as well as grade 12's and aims to improves the levels of maths education as well as produce more passes in maths at school.

While the project only began in the third term of 2007, we are proud to see a major improvement in the grade 12 math marks. 1 of our learners achieved over 80 % while another got 92%. In 2006, only 16% of the grade 12's passed maths. After our intervention in 2007, just over 50% of the grade 12's passed. We are very delighted with these results.
